Team Lead – Gym Operations

About the role

The Team Lead will support the Club Manager in overseeing daily gym operations and ensuring a positive experience for members. This full‑time, on‑site role combines front‑desk duties with staff development and operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in training, developing, and managing gym staff.
• Oversee member service, ensuring courteous front‑desk interactions and high‑quality customer experience.
• Handle front‑desk tasks: answer phone calls, process member check‑ins, sign‑ups, cancellations, and update account information.
• Conduct gym tours for prospective members and address service inquiries.
• Provide backup support to the Club Manager and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming gym environment and uphold the club’s positive image.
• Support marketing initiatives, ensure staff are trained on promotions, and manage inventory and supply orders.

Required profile

• Honesty and strong work ethic.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lb as needed.
