A330 MRTT B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Technician

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking an experienced A330 MRTT B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join the Final Assembly Line team in Getafe, Madrid. The role involves working on a double‑shift schedule and supporting both base and line maintenance activities for the A330 MRTT fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, perform and certify base and line maintenance as a B1‑certifying staff member.
• Execute aircraft preparation for flight using the Test Preparation Sheet issued by FlightOps.
• Carry out production work to ready aircraft for ground tests, coordinating with the MRTT Design Office and FAL‑Quality.
• Perform retrofit mechanical work and apply service bulletins or job cards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and fix aircraft discrepancies.
• Support overseas customer sites during delivery, ground‑flight test campaigns, and service‑bulletin implementation.

Required profile

• EASA Part‑66 B1 aircraft maintenance licence (A330 rating) – mandatory.
• Preferably an EASA Part‑66 B2 licence for the A330.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Airbus aircraft maintenance, including at least 2 years on A330 (RR Trent 700 or GE CF6).
• Fluent English and negotiation‑level Spanish.
• Willingness to work abroad regularly and obtain national/NATO security clearance.
