About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant will ensure that guest rooms and public areas of the Barceló Fuerteventura Resort are clean, well‑maintained and ready for use. Working closely with the housekeeping team, you will follow established procedures to guarantee hygiene and comfort for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cleaning supplies, equipment and materials needed for each shift.
• Clean and tidy guest rooms, checking furniture, fixtures and minibar items, making beds, ventilating rooms and replenishing amenities.
• Maintain public areas such as corridors, lobby and service zones in a spotless condition.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and lost‑and‑found items according to hotel protocols.
• Collect used linens and send them to the laundry, restock supplies and report any maintenance issues.

Required profile

• Basic secondary education (ESO) required.
• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of English is an advantage.
• Customer‑oriented attitude, teamwork spirit and strong attention to detail.
• Motivation, responsibility and good organisational skills.
