Content Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑driven, growth‑minded Content Specialist to join Preply’s inbound marketing team in Barcelona. Reporting to the Head of SEO, you will manage content operations, collaborate with SEO and PR teams, and help scale high‑quality, AI‑optimized content that drives learner acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end content production process, onboarding freelance and internal contributors and ensuring quality standards.
• Maintain and improve workflows in tools such as AirOps and WordPress to support large‑scale operations.
• Oversee content improvement pipelines, guaranteeing SEO, brand, and AI search visibility.
• Collaborate with social, brand, design, and SEO teams to enrich content with multimedia and run performance experiments.
• Organise content hubs, interlinking, tags and author profiles to boost discoverability and user experience.

Required profile

• 4+ years in content operations, SEO content management or editorial workflow leadership, preferably in fast‑moving, high‑volume environments.
• Strong project‑management skills with experience coordinating freelance or remote teams.
• Curiosity for process improvement and ability to align content with business impact.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AirOps.
• Proficiency with WordPress.
• Solid understanding of SEO and AI‑driven search.
