Cybersecurity & Compliance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity & Compliance Specialist to join our Airbus Helicopters centre of excellence in Albacete. You will ensure that our systems, networks and projects meet the highest security standards and comply with international regulations such as ISO 27001, NIS2 and ENS.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with global frameworks.
• Define, implement and review technical security controls, including network security, system hardening and disaster‑recovery/BCP plans.
• Conduct gap analyses, maturity assessments and risk‑management activities to protect company assets.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to embed Zero‑Trust principles in new designs and projects.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIS2, ENS and related standards.
• Support the creation and delivery of cybersecurity awareness and training programmes for staff.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related discipline.
• Solid experience in cybersecurity, systems administration or network engineering.
• Hands‑on experience implementing security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2 or ENS.
• Proven ability to manage technical tasks or projects autonomously with a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• ISO 27001, NIS2, ENS framework implementation.
• Zero‑Trust architecture.
• Network security, system hardening, DR/BCP planning.
• Risk management, gap analysis, maturity diagnostics.
• GRC tools and methodologies (e.g., Magerit, EBIOS) – nice to have.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor – nice to have.
