Data Engineer Internship (m/f/x)

About the role

P&G is looking for a technically capable Data Engineering intern in its Madrid General Office. You will scope and execute data engineering work end to end: gathering requirements, building pipelines and managing stakeholder expectations so that solutions are reliable and aligned with business needs. The internship is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL pipelines
• Implement data quality and validation processes
• Contribute to data model design
• Document solutions, patterns and standards
• Perform statistical data profiling (distributions, outliers, missingness)
• Help design basic experiments and A/B tests and interpret their results
• Monitor pipeline and model performance (latency, data drift, metric stability)
• Plan, track and communicate progress on assigned deliverables

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress)
• Mandatory English proficiency (B2+); Spanish (B2+) valued
• Core statistics (probability basics, sampling, confidence intervals)
• Understanding of regression and classification fundamentals
• Active interest in AI/ML trends and hands-on experimentation

Required skills

• Python and SQL programming
• Cloud basics and Databricks experience valued
• Power BI or other reporting tools valued
