Data Management Expert

About the role

ING is looking for a Data Management Expert to join its Delivery Team of Data & AI in Madrid. The role has end-to-end responsibility for analysing, defining and starting up information platform use cases, and for building, defining and deploying the new Data platform with other experts in the Data & AI tribe. It reports to the CJE Business Lead of the Data & AI tribe.

Key responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for the development of information use cases for reporting and analytics.
• Contribute as a key squad member, taking business requirements from operational systems and elaborating information mappings for developers.
• With squads and the CoE, define new requirements for the Functional Data Architecture and Data Management Framework (data warehouse, glossary, metadata, data quality, governance).
• Define ready and done states and acceptance criteria for user stories with the team.

Required profile

• Master's or bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience in Data Lake / Data Warehousing platforms, especially data marts modelling, ETL processes and reporting, including performance improvement and data quality monitoring.
• Knowledge of Data Governance and Quality frameworks.
• Agile working experience of more than 2-3 years.
• Advanced English, clear written and oral communication with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and judgement skills, curiosity about data trends, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary agile team.
