Decorative Sales Manager

About the role

Jotun Iberica S.A., based in Castellbisbal (Barcelona), is looking for a Decorative Sales Manager to manage the strategy and execution of decorative sales for defined customer groups or markets. Using Jotun's sales tools and techniques, the manager plans, executes and monitors sales objectives and collections to meet sales budgets, strengthen customer relationships, improve profitability and grow market share.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential business opportunities and gather market research on trends and positioning to increase market share.
• Plan, manage and monitor sales objectives, gross margin, days sales outstanding (DSO) and payment collection, guiding the sales team to meet targets.
• Develop and run long-term strategic and short-term tactical plans based on segment and regional strategies.
• Build and maintain a strong distribution network by setting targets, selection criteria and performance measures for subordinates.
• Follow up on agreed action plans and implement standard procedures, processes and reporting for retail and project teams.
• Organise, coach and lead sales teams, set clear targets and hold periodic performance reviews and feedback sessions.

Required profile

• Solid experience in sales within the decorative paints or related industry.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing sales teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, customer orientation, proactive and results-driven, with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
