Design Engineer – Aircraft Certification

About the role

AIRE, an aeronautical organization based in Madrid, is seeking a Design Engineer specialized in certification. You will work on major and minor modifications and repairs for a range of aircraft and rotorcraft, supporting global projects for airlines, lessors, and MROs.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and ensure compliance demonstration documents meet Part 21 certification and environmental requirements.
• Support transversal areas such as manufacturing, production, and procurement.
• Participate in working party phases and on‑site installations (A/C).
• Assist CVEs in compliance verification activities.
• Report progress of certification activities to the Project Coordinator.
• Inform HIMF and SM of any issues impacting the Design Organization.

Required profile

• Aeronautical Engineer qualified in a recognized discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design and certification activities (cabin safety, structures, or avionics) on Airbus and/or Boeing aircraft.
• Experience conducting aircraft surveys is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Fusion 360.
• Strong command of MS Office.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
