EV Training Engineer

About the role

Applus IDIADA, a global leader in automotive engineering, is looking for an EV Training Engineer to join its electric, hybrid and hydrogen powertrain safety training team. The position is based at IDIADA HQ in Tarragona and involves training on electric, hybrid and hydrogen vehicles and their systems, as well as the technical side of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide training on electric, hybrid and hydrogen vehicles and their systems.
• Develop and adapt training material.
• Develop e-learning courses on electric vehicles for different platforms.
• Carry out measurements and tests on electric, hybrid and hydrogen vehicles.
• Write reports on test results.
• Prepare didactic material for training on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Conduct theoretical and practical courses on electric and hybrid vehicles.

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanics, Electronics, Electricity or a similar field.
• Strong organisational skills and a solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent interpersonal, team and communication skills.
• Availability to travel.
• Fluent English; other languages are an asset.
