Finance Business Partner

About the role

Zurich Insurance is hiring a Finance Business Partner in Barcelona. Reporting to the Head of Planning & Performance Management, the role acts as a trusted finance partner to assigned business areas, giving financial insight, performance management expertise and strategic support to drive profitable growth and informed decisions. It works closely with senior business leaders to understand performance drivers, identify opportunities and risks and turn financial results into actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business area leaders on performance, strategy and emerging challenges, and act as the main finance point of contact for them.
• Lead performance analysis, coordinate annual planning, budgeting and forecasting, and monitor performance against targets.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to improve profitability and growth, and create executive narratives, management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Improve financial reporting, planning and performance management processes, data quality, reporting automation and analytics.
• Contribute to KPI forums, business reviews and cross-functional transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Controlling or Performance Management.
• Experience managing business stakeholders; insurance industry knowledge highly desirable.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Power BI or other data visualization tools are an asset.
