Food Service Cashier (Contingency)

About the role

KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey, providing program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare and recreation support. As a Food Service Cashier you will be part of the food service team, ringing up military customers with an Aloha Point of Sale system and providing excellent customer service in a shift environment that works around the clock.

Key responsibilities

• Read safety guidelines daily and complete all required training
• Verify, update and post food selling prices correctly
• Learn to use the Aloha P.O.S. and ring up food items from authorized customers, obtaining signatures when required
• Identify customers authorized to use the facility and balance the cash register
• Take in-flight meal orders by phone and in person
• Understand emergency and anti-robbery procedures and assist the supervisor when needed
• Wear a clean uniform and personal protective equipment, and notify managers when a customer does not comply with the dress code
• Keep the work area clean and tidy

Required profile

• Food Handler's Certificate
• High school diploma
• At least one year of experience as a cashier
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English at level III

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management
• Computer skills
• Customer service experience in a military environment
• Experience charging customers
