Food Service Storeroom Clerk (Contingency)

About the role

KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey, providing program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare and recreation support. The Food Service team is hiring a Storeroom Clerk, a fast-paced, energetic role working closely with the Storeroom Supervisor. The clerk ensures storage areas stay secure, loads and unloads subsistence deliveries and takes full accountability for subsistence during their shift.

Key responsibilities

• Assist storeroom leaders and follow Air Force storeroom standards and safety guidelines
• Receive, physically and electronically inspect and document all food deliveries, following FIFO issuance
• Prepare subsistence orders and perform inventories twice a month
• Load and unload subsistence deliveries and safeguard subsistence during the shift
• Verify food when issuing to kitchen staff and print required menu recipes
• Carry out daily sanitation and housekeeping as required by the Tri-Services Food Code and report discrepancies to the supervisor
• Drive trucks, wear a clean uniform and personal protective equipment, and complete required safety training

Required profile

• Food Handler's Certificate
• High school diploma
• Driver's license
• English level I
• Preferred: one year of experience in a food service storeroom, computer skills and fluency in English
