Global Project Manager

About the role

Roche is looking for a highly driven Global Project Manager in Sant Cugat del Vallès. The role goes beyond traditional project management: it acts as a central PMO pillar to scale global services by monitoring and consolidating the work of regional Project Managers. You will standardize ways of working, tools and KPIs across regions and unify multidisciplinary teams so that delivery runs smoothly from initiation to closure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of integrated solutions, combining several products into coherent project deliverables.
• Drive detailed planning, scheduling, risk mitigation and change management, resolve technical blockers and day-to-day issues, and keep multidisciplinary teams aligned.
• Monitor project health weekly, keeping data in project management tools accurate and reliable.
• Allocate resources according to technical expertise, forecast capacity against the planned pipeline, and balance timelines, business needs and technical challenges.
• Track progress metrics such as resource utilization, team capacity and execution health.
• Act as the central contact for regional PMs, manage cross-regional dependencies and oversee cross-product portfolios.
• Standardize project management processes, tools and ways of working globally, and define, align and automate common delivery KPIs.
• Consolidate global reporting, run regular project meetings and status reviews, and ensure adherence to centralized documentation and governance.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience scaling operations across multiple regions.
• Track record delivering complex multi-product solutions and single-product deployments.
• Able to lead, influence and align multidisciplinary teams without direct functional authority.
• Experience standardizing workflows, implementing delivery KPIs and automating reporting tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
