Network Lead, Project Management RIS

About the role

Roche is looking for a Network Lead for its Project Management Chapter (PMC) in a business area, based in Sant Cugat del Vallès. You will be the operational face of the chapter, working within your network to keep priorities clear, resources where they belong and delivery on track. You will sit alongside another Network Lead, Sub-Chapter Leads and the Chapter Lead, covering for each other and keeping the chapter aligned.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the chapter in your business area and act as its primary contact in operational forums.
• Build partnerships with Finance Business Partners, Portfolio Management and Business Operations leaders, and turn business priorities into actionable direction.
• Own the operational rhythm: prepare snapshots, run capacity reviews (QCRs, SCRs, fQCRs) and plan resources.
• Partner with Sub-Chapter Leads to allocate resources, anticipate demand and form teams or squads for urgent needs.
• Align timelines across Finance, Portfolio Management and Project Management, and break down silos between them.
• Work with the Network Lead counterpart to ensure coverage and alignment, and collaborate with Portfolio Management on delivery and governance.
• Contribute to standardization, tooling alignment and operational excellence, and coordinate with cross-functional partners.

Required profile

• 10+ years in diagnostics, life sciences or related fields in project management or related functions.
• Scientific, engineering or business background.
• Deep understanding of project and portfolio management in product development and product care, including lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to lead through influence in a complex matrix, and experience with cross-functional stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Business and financial acumen.
• Fluent English, verbal and written; willingness to travel 5-15%.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Planisware, MS Office and G-Suite.
• Familiarity with tools such as Trello, Miro and Smartsheet.
