HR Intern - Aerospace and Defense

About the role

Destinus, an aerospace and defense company building unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for government and defense partners, is hiring a paid, full-time HR intern in Madrid. You will work alongside HR Business Partners and support them across the employee lifecycle, HR operations, people data and internal projects, contributing to the everyday employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support HR Business Partners with day-to-day HR activities and employee-related topics
• Help with the employee lifecycle: onboarding, contract changes, internal moves, documentation and offboarding
• Prepare HR documentation and keep employee records and HR systems accurate
• Support HR reports, presentations and people data for HRBPs and internal decisions
• Coordinate onboarding and act as first point of contact for general employee HR questions
• Assist with recurring people processes, meetings, documentation and follow-up
• Contribute to HR projects and support internal events and employee initiatives

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Law or a related field
• Strong interest in developing a career in HR and learning how an HR Business Partner function works
• Previous HR, administrative or people-related internship experience is a plus, but not essential
• Available to work full time (35-40 hours per week) throughout the internship

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Professional Spanish and English; English is the main working language
