Incoming Quality Technician

About the role

This Incoming Quality Technician position sits within ABB's Robotics business, which is preparing for its acquisition by SoftBank Group. The role supports the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including audits, controls, training and reporting, and reports to the Global Quality Manager. It is based onsite in Madrigalejo del Monte, Burgos, Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out audits of components according to incoming control instructions and take corrective action on deviations
• Launch supplier complaints when non-conformities arise and follow corrective action plans
• Receive and manage components returned from manufacturing for analysis with suppliers
• Create and manage incoming control instructions
• Supervise control, sorting and rework of supplied parts and participate when needed
• Support quality assurance with local Production, Engineering and other functions
• Report quality issues, metrics and KPIs accurately and in time, using measurement systems

Required profile

• 2 years of experience as a Quality Technician with mechanical or electronic products
• Bachelor's degree or above
• Sound knowledge of quality tools, quality management systems and the industrial/automotive market
• Knowledge of SAP
• Intermediate English (B1)
• Initiative, autonomy and eagerness to learn
