Internship – Military Aircraft Certification Project

About the role

Ready to join an Airbus programme in Spain and contribute to the certification of the next generation of military transport aircraft? This six‑month curricular practicum, running from February to July 2027, is designed for final‑year aeronautical or aerospace students who wish to complete their Bachelor’s degree final project (TFG) while gaining hands‑on experience in aircraft certification.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and harmonisation of certification basis using EASA CS‑25 and EMAR/Part‑21 as reference frameworks.
• Analyse certification requirements for military aircraft and identify common approaches for harmonisation across programmes.
• Collaborate directly with certification and airworthiness engineers and design‑organisation specialists in an international environment.
• Apply engineering knowledge to real aerospace challenges and contribute to technical justifications for aircraft design solutions.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering (final year).
• English proficiency minimum B2 (C1 desirable) and Spanish at least B1.
• General knowledge of aeronautical principles and aircraft certification processes.

Required skills

• Familiarity with EASA CS‑25 standards.
• Understanding of EMAR/Part‑21 certification requirements.
