IT Audit Specialist

About the role

ING Hubs Spain is looking for an IT Audit Specialist to join its Corporate Audit Services team in Madrid. Corporate Audit Services is ING's internal audit department, with around 410 team members globally. As IT auditor you will carry out IT audits in international ING entities, covering key IT controls such as vulnerability management, IT resilience, security detection and response, identity and access management and change management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare for IT audits and perform complex audit activities during fieldwork
• Prepare the audit report and agree audit findings with the auditee, then follow up on their remediation
• Develop audit approaches for new audit topics and contribute to overall audit planning

Required profile

• Bachelor's, master's degree or equivalent in IT, IT Security or IT Audit
• Valid industry certifications such as CISA, CISSP and CCSP
• At least 2-3 years of experience executing IT audits on complex services, platforms, infrastructure and applications
• Experience in international organisations, such as financial services
• Fluent English; other languages appreciated
• Willing to travel abroad 2-4 weeks per year depending on assignments

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and security, including penetration testing and vulnerability management
• Platforms (OS, databases, virtualisation), public cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS), IT networks and processes
• Data analytics tools used in audits
• Strong analytical skills, professional skepticism and ability to communicate business risks and recommend controls
