Senior Pentester

About the role

ING Hubs Spain is looking for a Senior Pentester to join its Offensive Security Center of Expertise, a strategic initiative within the global CISO's remit that proactively identifies security risks through advanced penetration testing and red teaming. The role sits in a modern, international environment with access to the latest tools and technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on applications, infrastructure and systems
• Evaluate and report on the risk of identified vulnerabilities and give actionable remediation guidance
• Support the implementation of IT security requirements and standards across projects
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve the security posture
• Mentor and support other team members
• Help develop and refine internal testing methodologies and tools
• Stay up to date with emerging threats, tools and techniques in offensive security

Required profile

• Several years of hands-on experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and exploit vulnerabilities
• Relevant hands-on certifications (e.g. eWPTX, OSWE, OSEP, BSCP, CPTS)
• Extra points for knowledge of APTs and modern attack techniques, cloud security testing, contributions to the cybersecurity community, higher technical education in IT, additional certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM), and international experience

Required skills

• Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Ghidra, IDA and Frida
• Good knowledge of programming and scripting languages
