Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer

About the role

ING Hubs Spain is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to join its team. The role covers the maintenance, development and optimisation of RHEL and Windows-based infrastructure, patch management, automation and integration within the Azure environment, with collaboration across security, networking, architecture and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and develop tools
• Implement and develop new solutions
• Create and maintain documentation
• Maintain and develop RHEL and Windows-based infrastructure
• Design and optimise patch management processes and automation solutions
• Create complex pipelines and integrations in Azure DevOps / Azure
• Collaborate with security, networking, architecture and DevOps teams

Required profile

• At least 5 years of engineering experience in IT infrastructure roles
• Fluent English, spoken and written (minimum B2)

Required skills

• Advanced Linux (RHEL) knowledge: automation, troubleshooting, performance tuning
• Basic Windows Server knowledge: Active Directory, Group Policy, automation
• Automation tools: Ansible, PowerShell DSC, Bash/PowerShell scripting
• Azure and CI/CD (Azure DevOps Pipelines, YAML)
• EDR solutions, preferably Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, Elastic, ArcSight, Chronicle)
