Pastry Intern – Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor (Season 2027)

About the role

The Pastry Intern supports the pastry team in preparing and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts and baked goods while gaining hands-on experience in a professional luxury kitchen. Designed for students passionate about pastry arts, the intern works closely with the Pastry Chef and the team, learning Four Seasons' standards while contributing to daily preparation and service. The position is a seasonal, full-time contract of 40 hours per week with consecutive and rotating shifts, including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts and baked goods under the guidance of the pastry team.
• Support the Pastry Chef and team with daily preparation, production and service.
• Follow recipes, preparation methods and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Rotate through different pastry sections to understand pastry operations.
• Learn and apply pastry techniques while developing technical skills.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and proper storage in the pastry kitchen, and follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Help prepare mise en place and contribute creative ideas to the pastry offering.
• Support the team during service and collaborate with other kitchen colleagues.

Required profile

• Currently studying Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, Gastronomy or a related field.
• Fluency in spoken English or Spanish.
• Legal right to work in Spain.
• Enthusiasm for learning, attention to detail, organization skills and a willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
