Product Marketing Specialist – Critical Power & Applications

About the role

ABB is looking for a Product Marketing Specialist for its Critical Power portfolio, which covers high-performance circuit breakers and the line protection solution Smissline. The role focuses on big commercial and industrial segments such as Data Centers, Renewables, Railway and other applications, and works closely with the Energy Distribution Product Marketing team. It sits within the Product Marketing department of the Electrification Smart Building division in Spain, with installers and electric wholesalers as main stakeholders. The position reports to the EL Product Marketing Manager and follows a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Research the target audience, market trends and competitiveness by visiting customers regularly with the sales organisation
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to raise product awareness and sales, including defining and communicating product value propositions
• Oversee progress toward order demand targets and define and implement sales and promotion plans
• Analyse sales data and gather market feedback to evaluate product performance and adjust marketing strategies
• Provide the sales team with the tools, training and materials needed to sell the product
• Support product price positioning in line with local strategy through price variation analysis

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electricity or Electronics
• Experience working with customer-centric methodologies and marketing foundations in the electrical market
• 2-5 years of experience in similar roles
• Ability to show skills in electrical/electronic project definition, on-site electrical operation or product portfolio management
• Innovative communicator, proactive and able to manage several tasks and projects with a results-oriented approach
• Fluent English
