Program Quality Manager - Air Base Moron

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Program Quality Manager to be based at the Air Base of Morón de la Frontera. The postholder proposes, develops, implements and improves the Quality Management System within the C3 contract and the working parties held at Moron Air Base, and acts as the single point of contact between Airbus and SAF on Eurofighter quality and maintenance queries in customer facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure aircraft are ready for delivery and meet all quality requirements, and accept deviations where applicable.
• Create the Airbus Maintenance Book (inspections, equipment calendar tasks, OTCPs, defects and breakdowns) and verify closure before delivery to SAF.
• Control and update the SAF Aircraft Book and the SL2000 fleet management tool (supply, maintenance, engineering and fleet).
• Create and sign job certificates, control and store repair reports, and prepare IDCs (quality discrepancy reports) or PPS.
• Prepare technical proposals to SAF authorities (NSO) on maintenance or breakdown activities, and collect and analyse customer feedback.
• Act as quality representative in working parties at Moron Air Base, and ensure assigned customer tasks are fully completed.
• Provide Airbus personnel with the material and equipment needed for maintenance, and control equipment status (life limits, calendar inspections, failures) and send it to suppliers or SAF workshops.
• Oversee the quality of the IHP warehouse (DAINs signatures and discrepancies when Albacete staff are unavailable).

Required profile

• Aerospace engineer education.
• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Advanced English and Spanish.
• Nice to have: customer support experience.

• Proactive approach and interpersonal and communication skills.
• Quality assurance work in aerospace.
