Quality Internship – A330 MRTT Production – Airbus Discover II

About the role

Join Airbus' Discover II graduate program as a Quality Intern on the A330 Multi‑Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) final assembly line. You will work in the Production Quality department, supporting the Transformation team to drive process reliability and product compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality improvement initiatives and establish measurement standards for process repeatability.
• Optimize methods and tools to ensure efficient production across all stakeholders.
• Monitor production quality performance using KPIs and provide visibility for fast decision‑making.
• Manage non‑conformities and quality escapes, ensuring root‑cause eradication and feedback loops with suppliers.
• Promote a preventive mindset by detecting repetitive quality issues.
• Handle risk and opportunity assessments within production quality.
• Support OES implementation and ensure QMS compliance with regulatory approvals.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (any discipline) with a strong interest in the aeronautical sector.
• Motivation to develop professional skills in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) principles.
• Experience with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for production monitoring.
• Understanding of non‑conformity management and root‑cause analysis.
