Remote Partner Engineering Support

About the role

Cross Border Talents is recruiting a fully remote Partner Engineering Support for an award-winning Irish software development company that builds websites and mobile apps for sports, publishing, FinTech, e-commerce and other sectors. The role works closely with the sales and technical teams to speed up the knowledge, solution design and integration work that external partners do, and suits someone with broad technical skills who can drive both technical and business conversations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive technical discussions with external partners and lead solution deep dives, giving them material to support their own sales to their clients.
• Develop business and strategic cases for partnership opportunities and build consensus among decision-makers.
• Provide oversight, guidance and assistance during the sales process so joint opportunities succeed.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project members, solving technical challenges and building relationships with senior technical people.
• Develop scalable value drivers, end-to-end solutions, best practices, solution demos and architecture guides.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in architecture, technical consulting, process re-engineering or application delivery roles.
• Experience with systems flows, data/business object modelling, use-case and UI prototyping.
• Strong technical knowledge of software architecture and comfort explaining technical concepts from product feature and API perspectives.
• Project management, communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs.
• Experience in finance or payments (B2B, SaaS, marketplaces) is a plus; strong understanding of CRM, ERP and e-commerce solutions is a plus.

Required skills

• Competence in modern web application architecture and practices.
• Stripe experience is beneficial, though full training is provided.
