Senior SEO Strategist (Madrid-based)

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring a Senior SEO Strategist based in Madrid. The SEO team drives organic growth by shaping visibility across search engines, LLMs, local listings and third-party integrations. As Senior Strategist you will own SEO strategy for key initiatives, act as a strategic reference for the wider SEO team and partner with Product, Engineering, Data and Marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design SEO strategies that build competitive advantage, prioritizing initiatives by their impact on traffic, conversions and revenue
• Identify growth opportunities and build business cases with estimated impact, ROI and resource needs
• Use a quick-testing, experiment-driven approach to validate hypotheses and scale solutions
• Guide information architecture, crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data and technical SEO
• Apply AI and LLMs to automate workflows and improve productivity
• Lead SEO projects end-to-end, coordinating across Product, Engineering, Content and Marketing
• Define KPIs, build dashboards and run attribution and forecasting analyses
• Present results to stakeholders, negotiate priorities, mentor specialists and represent SEO in forums

Required profile

• Proven experience as an SEO Strategist, at least 7 years on high-traffic sites (over 5M monthly visits)
• Experience adapting a global SEO strategy to local markets
• Proactive, self-managing and able to work independently and in a team
• Data-driven, with strong understanding of analytics and metrics
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of search engine ranking factors, including LLM-powered search (RAG, citations, query fan-out)
• HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Enterprise SEO software
• Valuable: Google Apps Script, Python, SQL, workflow automation and team management
