Senior Site Contract Manager

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is hiring a Senior Site Contract Analyst (listed as Senior Site Contract Manager) in Spain, working from home. The role manages contractual agreements for clinical research projects, ensuring compliance and contributing to the advancement of new treatments and therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate contracts for clinical research projects with internal stakeholders, in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Analyse contract terms, conditions and obligations to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Support project teams on contract interpretation, compliance issues and contractual rights and obligations.
• Maintain accurate and organised contract records, tracking milestones, deliverables and deadlines.
• Help develop and implement contract management processes, procedures and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, communications or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in contract administration, negotiation or related roles in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or clinical research industry.
• Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of the time.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
