Senior Vice President, Credit Practices, Asset Finance

About the role

Morningstar DBRS's Fundamental Ratings Team is looking for a highly motivated person with a deep interest in Asset Finance to join as Senior Vice President within the Credit Practices Group. The ideal candidate brings at least 15 years of experience, preferably with significant experience at a rating agency covering Asset Finance sectors. The role works closely with the Credit Practices Team and the various rating groups.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject-matter expert for analytical teams covering Asset Finance (Project Finance, PPP and Infrastructure) and other sectors.
• Provide guidance on complex credit issues, including the application of methodology and the credit implications of macroeconomic conditions and sector trends.
• Participate in and chair rating committees.
• Identify cross-sector themes, macroeconomic developments and systemic risks affecting credit quality.
• Contribute to Morningstar DBRS thought leadership.
• Support the development, enhancement and maintenance of methodologies across asset classes.

Required profile

• At least 15 years of fundamental credit experience, with substantial exposure at a rating agency, lending institution, private credit platform or comparable organisation.
• Demonstrated depth of experience in Asset Finance credit sectors such as Project Finance, PPP and Infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring analytical teams in a performance-driven environment.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, data science, economics or a related discipline; advanced degrees (Masters, MBA, CFA) preferred.

What we offer

• Base salary of EUR 128,500 to 186,833, with a bonus target of 30% annual.
