SEO Team Lead (AI & Automation)

About the role

The SEO Team Lead (AI and Automation) will reshape Leadtech's organic growth engine by turning SEO into a productized, AI‑driven function. You will guide a team of specialists to automate content creation, technical audits and data analysis, focusing on revenue generation rather than pure traffic.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi‑project SEO strategies across several business units, aligning resources with revenue potential.
• Shift the focus from "traffic‑first" to "revenue‑first" by leveraging AI to capture high‑conversion opportunities in Search Generative Experiences (SGE).
• Co‑design and execute an automation roadmap to automate at least 60% of recurring SEO tasks such as reporting, auditing and brief generation.
• Audit existing workflows, replace bottleneck manual steps with scripts, API integrations or AI solutions, and transition the team into "AI Orchestrators".
• Mentor and manage SEO specialists, set KPIs, conduct regular 1‑on‑1s and ensure high‑quality, automated deliverables.
• Produce data‑rich, automated reports for C‑level stakeholders and translate technical wins into business ROI.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Finance leaders to secure buy‑in for automation initiatives and provide AI‑driven predictive insights.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a formal leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record of implementing AI or automation solutions in SEO.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn data into strategic recommendations.
