Space System Procurement Intern – Airbus #Discover I 2026/27

About the role

Join Airbus for an 11‑month full‑time internship in the Space Systems Procurement team. You will work on satellite and space exploration programmes, supporting commodity, project supply, and quality managers to ensure on‑time, on‑quality, and on‑cost deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Commodity Managers with market analysis, supplier benchmarking, and preparation of RFI/RFP data.
• Update supplier panels, track contract coverage, and monitor cost evolution and savings.
• Support Project Supply Managers by securing material availability, consolidating programme demand, and tracking critical flight parts.
• Prepare supply‑chain inputs for programme reviews and participate in risk and opportunity assessments.
• Monitor supplier on‑time delivery performance, follow up delivery schedules, and escalate risks to AIT planning.
• Track supplier non‑conformances, coordinate audits, and maintain qualification status.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in engineering, supply‑chain, procurement, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to work full‑time (40 h/week) on‑site in Getafe, Spain.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a regulated ESA/ECSS environment.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
