Staff Writer (French Speaker)

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for a Madrid-based Staff Writer to join its French team within the Secret Media Network, a digital media group that recommends plans, places and events in cities around the world. The role creates original, engaging content about Fever events for French-speaking markets, combining journalism and social media creativity.

Key responsibilities

• Write engaging, accurate and informative articles for commercial partners and Fever Original events.
• Create social media posts, write video captions and cover branded events with Instagram stories, working with the marketing team to optimise copy for sales and awareness.
• Keep track of tasks across multiple campaigns and generate creative ideas for new ones.
• Manage client feedback and, occasionally, contribute editorial work while prioritising commercial work.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of relevant editorial experience.
• Native-level written and spoken French; fluent English for internal communication is preferred.
• Demonstrable digital writing experience (editorial or commercial).
• Experience in a digital marketing or editorial environment, from a newsroom to an agency, is highly desirable.
• Ability to stay calm and organised under pressure, handling many tasks at once.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of the Secret Media Network's native storytelling tone.
• Flair for social media and a good sense of what makes a story engaging.
• Understanding of native marketing and strong storytelling and creative-commercial insight.
