Technical Data Product Engineer

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Technical Data Product Engineer in Getafe (Madrid). The role delivers data for the Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) of customers, covering new aircraft, retrofits, new technical publications and service bulletins, while promoting digitalisation and new services. It involves managing processes with internal stakeholders, outsourcers and customers, and ensuring the integrity of Airbus ILS product data.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and promote digitalisation projects for reference data and define the IT requirements of reference data processes.
• Manage the subcontractor team responsible for logistics data integration and define processes and procedures, including interfaces with other areas.
• Collect, compile, integrate, validate and deliver configuration and industrial reference data for customer maintenance and mission systems.
• Check the integrity of data linked to ILS products and resolve inconsistencies.
• Support customers on site with loading reference data into MIS, data migrations and data quality.
• Help upload and update technical data and documentation into ILS repositories (e.g. IDS, customer web portal).
• Generate reports and KPIs, resolve customer technical queries and follow up subcontractor activities and improvement projects.

Required profile

• Technical background in aeronautics; academic profile in data analytics, IT development, mathematics or aeronautical engineering.
• Experience in data analysis and data wrangling, collection of data from large heterogeneous databases, operational management of IT developments, aircraft maintenance, customer services and quality.
• Negotiation-level English; French is appreciated. An Airbus internship is a plus.
