Tooling Engineer – Wind Turbine Construction

About the role
Join the CNTO TLEX team as a Tooling Engineer, responsible for defining and designing tooling solutions for the construction phase of wind turbines. You will develop efficient, cost‑effective tooling while ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct product analysis to determine tooling requirements.
- Define and validate conceptual designs in collaboration with H&S and expert technicians.
- Create 3D designs and perform tooling calculations to guarantee optimal performance.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including calculation reports, user manuals, and quality/maintenance manuals.
- Lead tooling FAT and SAT validations, ensuring compliance with established standards.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum B2 level English proficiency.
- At least 8 years of experience developing and calculating equipment for the wind industry, preferably on the construction side.
- Strong understanding of European equipment design standards and manufacturing processes such as welding and stamping.
- Proactive leadership and teamwork skills to manage multiple projects within multidisciplinary teams.
