About the role
The Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas at the Barceló Fuerteventura Castillo hotel, ensuring high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and organise cleaning supplies, tools and equipment for each shift.
- Clean and tidy guest rooms and common areas, making beds, ventilating rooms, restocking linens, toiletries, minibar items and checking furniture and fixtures for damage.
- Attend to guest requests, handle lost‑and‑found items and respond to complaints according to hotel procedures.
- Collect used linens and send them to the laundry, and replenish supplies as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or irregularities observed during cleaning.
Required profile
- Secondary education (ESO) completed.
- Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Customer‑oriented attitude, teamwork, attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
