About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Officer to ensure the smooth operation of all hotel installations and equipment at the Barcelo Fuerteventura Castillo property. The role involves daily checks, preventive and corrective actions, and guaranteeing that all systems meet the company’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and verify the proper functioning of all hotel installations, machinery and technical systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Ensure correct usage of facilities and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Follow the directives of the supervisor and comply with company quality guidelines.

Required profile

• Medium‑level technical training in Maintenance (Ciclo Formativo Medio).
• At least 2 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance within a hotel environment.
• Valid driving licence (category B) and own vehicle.
• Team‑oriented attitude, good communication and analytical abilities.
• Additional training in legionella control and pool maintenance is a plus.
