Treasury Analyst – Cash Management & Back Office

About the role

Inetum Consulting, the business consulting division of a large technology company, is looking for a Senior Cash Management, Systems & Back Office Treasurer for its Group Financing and Treasury Department. Although the department is based in Paris, the position is based in Madrid to cover the Iberia/Latam area, which accounts for half of the Group's operations. The role reports to the Head of Cash Management, Systems & Back Office and covers cash management, back office and treasury IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Cash management: manage daily cash flow with a target of zero cash balance, set up the Group's liquidity position in different currencies, execute payments correctly, optimize intra-group liquidity, liaise with subsidiaries on cash and FX, monitor banking fees and take part in daily cash forecasting.
• Back office: control and validate financial operations initiated by the front office, document market operations, ensure secure payment execution, maintain cash management procedures and controls, share best practices in internal control and task segregation, join projects such as bank tenders and process optimization, and review guides and operating procedures.
• Treasury IT systems: administer treasury software, banking communication platforms and market data tools, support and train users, take part in system development projects, gather user needs, draft specifications and operating manuals, and support testing of system changes.

Required profile

• Master's degree in finance and/or treasury.
• 7-10 years of experience in an international company or an audit/consulting firm specializing in treasury.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish; French is a plus.
• Teamwork, stress management, autonomy, rigor, organization, curiosity and communication skills; proven ability to work in a highly leveraged environment is beneficial.

• Treasury systems (Kyriba is a plus).
• Mastery of payment methods and project management.
